Degrees and Certifications:
I am very excited to start my first year at Prosper ISD at Reynolds Middle School. I graduated from University of North Texas and started teaching right away in a 4th grade classroom as an English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I then moved out to California and it was there that I fell in love working with the special education population. 2 years later, I'm back in Texas working as a behavior teacher for kindergarten to 4th grade. I stayed in that position for 3 years, had my son in 2018 and tried being a stay at home mom. After a year at home, I realized how much I missed the classroom and working with students, so I went back to my old position for the 2019-2020 school year. My husband received a job opportunity here in Propser later on that year, so one crazy move during a pandemic and a haircut later and I could not be happier with where we've landed.
