  • Girls State Golf Tournament

    The 6A Girls State Golf Tournament was held at the Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown on May 13th-14th. Haili Moore represented PHS and finishing tied for 10th.  The 6A State tournament featured 72 of the best players in the state but also nationally ranked players as Texas produces some of the best golfers for top College programs. She shot 1 under par 71 the first day and 75 the second day. Congratulations Haili, we are proud of you!

    The THSWPA State Meet was held in Waco, TX on March 16th where senior, Alannah James came away with a 3rd place finish. Congratulations Alannah, and congratulations to the rest of the girls and boys powerlifting teams on a successful season.

  • Eagle Basketball Season Recap

    The boys basketball program had a successful first season at the 6A level.  The Varsity Eagles reached the playoffs for the 6th consecutive season by winning 20 games after graduating 10 players from last year's Regional Tournament team.  9 varsity players earned Academic All-District including 4 earning Academic All-State - Josh Davis, Derek Holdge, Chris Kingston, and Caleb Reed.  Josh Davis earned 1st Team All-District for the third year in a row.  

    Overall, the five boys basketball teams comprised an overall record of 85 wins and 42 loses on the season for a 67% winning percentage.  The Freshman A team secured the district championship for a second consecutive year with a district record of 13 wins and only 1 loss.

  • Jordyn Oliver selected as McDonald's All American

    Jordyn Oliver has been selected as a McDonald's all american,  one of the top 24 girls basketball players in the country, from over 800 nominated players by a committee of basketball experts and will join a prestigious and historic legacy on Wednesday, March 27, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.  Since 1978, over 1,400 players have competed in the McDonald’s All American Games. They form an elite group of some of the top names in basketball history, including Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Candace Parker, Maya Moore, Elena Delle Donne and Breanna Stewart. Alumni include current college standouts Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett of Duke and Katie Lou Samuelson of UConn.    We are very excited for Jordyn to be a part of this prestigious group!
