Hello, Light Farms Families!
I am honored to serve as the Principal of Light Farms Elementary this year, as I begin my twelfth year in education.
My husband, Tim, and I have two wonderful children - Emma is 4 years old and Luke turned 2 last spring. I grew up in Keller, Texas, where most of my family still lives, and I enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I graduated from Baylor University (Sic 'Em Bears!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and spent five years teaching third grade at Baker Elementary in Prosper ISD. I received a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University in 2011 and served as the Assistant Principal at Rucker Elementary in Prosper ISD for four years before coming to Light Farms as the Assistant Principal in 2016. I am eager to begin my second year as Principal of this amazing campus!
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve students and live out my passion each day! I strive to positively impact the lives of children during their elementary educational journey. It is very important to me to create partnerships with the families of the students I serve. Through these partnerships, we will be able to develop optimum learning opportunities for your children. I look forward to serving our Light Farms students and working with each of your families this year!

Dear Light Farms Family,
I’m honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal of Light Farms. This is my 32nd year in education, and 19th year serving students in Prosper ISD. During my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in Pre-Kindergarten - 3rd grade, served as an Assistant Principal at Baker Elementary, and as a Student Services and Special Program Specialist.
My educational background includes a M.Ed. from Texas A & M Commerce and a B.S. in Elementary Education, with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Winona State University in Minnesota.
I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful girls that both graduated from Prosper ISD.
My passion is working with children. There is nothing more rewarding than positively impacting a child’s life and providing a positive, encouraging learning environment. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child achieves academic success and becomes a lifelong learner. I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together this year!
