This advisory committee is designed to educate those who are interested in serving Prosper ISD in a variety of roles, including School Board Trustee. Participants will learn about numerous aspects of the governance and operation of Prosper ISD.

Prosper University will be led by the Executive Leadership Team and will provide insight to the inner workings of PISD and the role of the School Board. Over a series of six meetings participants will learn about how districts in the State of Texas are governed, the role of individual board members, the challenges and opportunities faced by PISD everyday, and a look at what the future holds.

The Executive Leadership Team will provide interactive presentations relevant to their areas of expertise so that participants can engage in the learning and foster discussion. Additionally, there is the potential of assigned readings and tours will be given of facilities across the district.

Prosper University participants will be required to complete an application and must be a resident of Prosper ISD.
