High School UIL Academics
-
UIL is the largest organization of it's type in the nation regulating Academics, Athletics and Fine Arts Competition across the state of Texas. Students participating in UIL Academics have a unique opportunity to qualify for scholarships (TILF scholarship) designed specifically for them. These students have the opportunity to exercise their mental muscle while being a part of a team, building collaboration skills, cognitive ability, communication skills, and a college, scholarship and career resume that has landed many students in colleges and universities across the nation.
One Prosper ISD former student got into Yale largely because of her participation in UIL Journalism. Another former student got into Cornell largely because of his participation in a variety of UIL Academic Activities. These stories are plentiful and we would love to add your student to the list of students excelling in college and beyond largely because of their participation in UIL Academics.
Students can choose from a variety of events. Below are some links to give you more information about UIL Academics.
