I am SO excited to be the librarian at Boyer Elementary this year! I grew up not far away in The Colony. I went to college at The University of Texas at Austin where I got a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development. I spent many years teaching second, third, fourth and fifth grades as well as teaching students with Dyslexia. I then worked at the Prosper Community Library as the Youth Services Librarian while I worked on my masters degree in Information Science. I graduated in 2020 and after two wonderful years of teaching third grade at Boyer, I got the job to be the librarian!
When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my husband Kris, three kids Carter, Abby and Ellie along with our sweet dog Crosley. We love to travel, especially to any Disney park. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
