Dual Language Program

Our Two-Way Dual Language Program builds on our students’ first language in order to support the development of academic language proficiency, content knowledge and skills, and enhanced cognitive development in both English and Spanish. Students receive instruction in literacy and academic content in Spanish as well as English from appropriately certified teachers. At least half of the instruction is delivered in Spanish for the duration of the program. Rucker’s Two-way Dual Language classrooms invite English learners and English proficient students who are learning Spanish to work together as they deepen their academic learning and language acquisition skills.  To learn more about the two Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Programs in Prosper ISD, please visit Prosper ISD Language Programs Department.
