Dr. Kari Roan

Dr. Kari Roan

I come from a long line of educators. For six generations, my family has embraced the mantle of responsibility that comes with joining the teaching and learning profession.  Principals, teachers, superintendents, professors - I stand on the shoulders of all of these women and men in my family who came before me, so the work of education is in my blood - this is personal.

It is my joy to use whatever tools are in front of me to ensure that all students learn everything they can so that they have options in post-secondary pursuits, so that they are equipped to contribute meaningfully to their world, and so that they can return the favor by investing in those who come after them.

Throughout my career, my job has been to work tirelessly on behalf of students.  As the instructional leader at Rushing, my vision is to use my influence, training, and skills to equip all educators with whatever they need to get positive outcomes for all students, always. #RushingAllAlways
