Campus Safety Drills
The purpose of Campus Safety Drills is to help prepare students, staff, and faculty for potential emergencies by familiarizing everyone with the actions to take in different crisis situations. These drills aim to ensure the safety of everyone on campus by promoting calm, quick, and effective responses.
In the event of lockdown drills, the Prosper ISD Police Department conducts these scheduled, but unannounced drills in accordance with our safety protocols. During lockdown drills, the perimeter of the school is secured and no one is allowed in or out of secured buildings. PISD Police are on site to assist with the drill.
In the event of campus fire drills, the local Fire Department conducts these scheduled, but unannounced drills in accordance with our safety protocols. During fire drills, students and staff are evacuated from the building and no one is allowed in until the fire department gives the all-clear. PISD Police are on site to assist with the drill.
