CCMR and Accountability
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has established specific criteria, known as College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators, to measure a student’s preparedness for life after high school. By meeting one or more of these indicators, students demonstrate their readiness to succeed in college, enter the workforce, or enlist in the military.
Readiness indicators are achieved by:
Meet criteria of a 3 on AP examinations or 4 on IB examinations
Meet TSIA criteria via SAT, ACT, TSIA2, or College Prep course in English and/or math
Complete a dual credit course (9 hours in any subject or 3 hours in English or Math)
Complete an OnRamps course for credit
Earn a Level I or II certification
Earn an industry based certification as well as take two courses in an aligned program of study
Graduate with a completed IEP and workforce readiness
