2024-2025 Campuses Closed to New Students
At Prosper ISD, excellence is the standard we strive for daily, from our dedicated staff and eager students. We take immense pride in providing exceptional educational opportunities to all learners, which has led to our district being recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the nation. Last year alone, we welcomed 3,600 new students, and our total enrollment has now reached over 31,000 students. With this growth comes the need for expansion to accommodate our increasing student population. In the past few years, we have opened 6 new campuses, and in the next two years, we will open 6 more.
CAMPUSES CLOSED TO NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT
As part of our fast growth, several campuses have closed or could potentially close to new students. As of July 24, 2024, the following campuses are closed to new students.
Rogers Middle School (Closed to new students on May 7, 2024)
New students will attend Daniel L. Jones Middle School
Hall Elementary School (Closed to new students on July 24, 2024)
New students will attend Jackson Elementary School
Christie Elementary School (Closed to new students on August 12, 2024)
New students will attend Johnson Elementary School

CAMPUSES WE ARE CLOSELY MONITORING
We are currently monitoring the following campus for potential closure to new students:
Lilyana Elementary School
When campus enrollment exceeds the building's capacity by a significant margin, we must ensure that our students continue to learn in a conducive environment while prioritizing their safety. We want to minimize the number of students in our portable learning buildings. As always, student safety is a critical consideration every day. At that time, we will close campus enrollment to new students, and those students will be provided with enrollment and transportation at another exceptional Prosper ISD campus.
