Mrs. Teresa Davis

Hello!  Welcome to Fourth Grade!  My name is Teresa Davis.  I am beginning my seventh year in Prosper, and my 17th year of teaching.  I began my teaching career in Gwinnett County Georgia where I taught both first and second grade. After four years, we missed Texas and moved back home to be near family, where we made our home in McKinney.  At that time, we started a family and I stayed home for a while.  I went back to my love of teaching when my daughter started kindergarten and taught second graders.  My family and I moved to Prosper 8½ years ago, and I knew right away that Prosper was the place I wanted to teach!  With that said, I am so very excited to be part of the Baker Team!  We truly have an amazing group of 4th grade teachers, and I am blessed to be working with them again this year!

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and received my teacher certification at Texas A&M Commerce.  I am also excited to say that I completed my Master's in Literacy this past summer!

On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband, Larry, for 25 years.  We have an amazing daughter, Lexie, who is a 12th grader at Prosper High School this year. We also have two fur babies, Taz and Pippin.  It’s going to be a fantastic year at Baker, and I look forward to getting to know all of the students and their families!
