Principal Toth Named to Harvard Institute

Prosper ISD’s Dustin Toth, Principal at Rock Hill High School, has been selected as only one of 85 educators in the state of Texas to attend the prestigious Principals' Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

“I am excited to attend the Institute at one of the most prestigious educational establishments in the country. I am eager to collaborate with other educational professionals as we continue to find ways to improve student outcomes for our students, ” said Toth.

Toth will participate in one of two weeklong workshops on leadership development, coaching, or school turnaround led by Harvard faculty and other national and international experts. Each program is designed to inspire, challenge, and empower school leaders to bring lasting impact to their campuses and communities, the entire state of Texas, and beyond.

“Mr. Toth continues to pursue excellence as he leads Rock Hill High School,” said Prosper ISD Superintendent Dr. Holly Ferguson. “I know that this experience will strengthen his leadership at RHHS and will provide inspiration at the district level as we all work together to improve student outcomes in Prosper ISD.”

Toth has been in Prosper ISD for four years serving as Assistant Principal at Prosper High School before being named Principal at Rock Hill high School.

Following the Harvard Institutes, Toth will remain a part of the program’s statewide network of school leaders and will be empowered to work together to create change at the campus and district levels. Alumni are then sponsored to attend the organization’s annual leadership symposium and receive continuous support and professional development.

The Charles Butt Foundation, a non-profit pursuing a more equitable and prosperous future for all Texans through education and community partnerships, is sponsoring the 85 Texas educators.
