Prosper ISD has been named one of the top 10 Best School Districts in Texas and the 5th best school district for athletes in Texas. The district took the #1 ranking for Best School Districts for Athletes in Collin County and the #2 ranking for Best School Districts in which to teach in Collin County.

Thousands of families have moved their families from across the US and the world to Prosper ISD in recent years. Most of these families investigate schools and choose Prosper for the quality of the school system and the opportunities provided to students.  

Nationally, the district ranked #72 for athletes out of 10,776 in the nation and finished as #144 of the 10,751 public school districts in America.

According to a report from Niche, Prosper ISD is not just top rated in the eyes of local families. The district is rated as an A+ as a result of federal and state data and user-generated reviews regarding the school.

Niche looks at a variety of data to determine ratings and rankings including:

In these categories, Prosper ISD earned the highest rating, an A+, in all categories except Teachers where the district received an A rating and Diversity where the district received a B+.
