Gaming is no longer just a favorite pastime. In Prosper ISD, several of our students are dominating at the state and national level in the new extracurricular activity, ESports. 

Students hold practices throughout the year and compete at various tournaments for the chance to be recognized as the Top Gamer or Top Team.

Recently, the PHS and RHHS teams dominated in competition.

The team has the Vanta Texas Championships this Sunday in connection with the Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup.  There will be over 60 colleges there competing as well providing the Prosper students with access to a network of recruiters and a chance for more opportunities.  Some of the PISD students have already qualified to play Sunday in the semi-finals:
