Together We Prosper October 28, 2025 | | |

| | | Another unforgettable night in Prosper ISD! 🎉 Thomson Elementary’s dedication ceremony brought together families, staff, and neighbors to celebrate the legacy of Jana Thomson, who served as a teacher, principal, and school board member who helped shape Prosper ISD. Principal Zeb Evans, the Thomson family, district leaders, and outstanding Thomson students shared how her leadership and passion for education continue to inspire the values lived out at Thomson Elementary today.
Richland High School will round out the dedication ceremonies this week and will remind us that every new school is a reflection of our district’s continued commitment to empower students, staff, and the community that makes Prosper shine. 🌟 | | | Prosper High School Floral Design students Maylee Allen and Kelsey Bleak brought their creativity to life this month, crafting seasonal floral centerpieces for the first Lunch with Our Leader event of the year, where Walnut Grove and Richland feeder pattern school counselors connected with Dr. Ferguson to discuss how to continue to impact our students in a positive way.
As part of Prosper ISD’s floral design program, Maylee, a third-year Practicum Floral Design student, and Kelsey, a second-year Advanced Floral Design student, managed the entire project from start to finish. With just one week to design, budget, gather supplies and assemble ten arrangements for the lunch, the duo quickly learned that flexibility is key in both floral design and life in general.
“Originally, the arrangement looked nothing like this,” they shared. “Most of what we originally planned was way out of budget, so we had to pivot, but it turned out in the end.” | | | | | Celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 27-31.Red Ribbon Week is a time to talk with students about healthy choices and the importance of living drug-free.
