From specialized academies and electives to programs that turn interests into future careers, "Launch Your Journey” is an invitation for students to discover their path and for families to see all the ways the district helps them shine. Be sure to check out your feeder high school’s Information Nights. You won’t want to miss it! | | | | This week, Prosper ISD Hope Squad members had the incredible opportunity to meet with visitors from Poland who are interested in bringing Hope Squads to their own schools. Originally introduced in our schools in 2019, Hope Squad is a peer-led program focused on suicide prevention and creating a culture of kindness and support in communities across the country.
Students from Walnut Grove High School, Hays Middle School, and Light Farms Elementary shared how the program has strengthened relationships at their schools and made a lasting impact on their own lives. The visitors asked thoughtful questions and heard firsthand how empowering students to look out for one another can make a difference, no matter where you are in the world.
| | | | This morning, campuses across Prosper ISD held special celebrations to honor veterans and the students who proudly support them. Schools across the district welcomed family members with military backgrounds, giving students and staff the opportunity to recognize their loved ones through heartfelt performances and moments of gratitude.
Happy Veterans Day, and thank you to all who have served. | | | | Stay healthy this holiday season with help from Children's Health Teleheath at Home visits. To support student health and well-being during the holiday break, Children's Health Telehealth is offering Telehealth at Home – a convenient virtual care option accessible from home or while traveling. With your permission, your child can video chat with a provider from the comfort of your home, get diagnosed and have prescriptions sent to your chosen pharmacy.
A parent or guardian can schedule appointments by calling 844‑483‑5363, where a member of our team will assist in connecting them with a Children’s Health provider.
Telehealth services at Prosper ISD will be billed to your insurance provider or to Medicaid. No insurance? No problem. After your visit, Children’s Health will bill you directly. Most families qualify for a discount, and no student will be turned away for a visit.
Telehealth at Home services will be available Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
