H-E-B

We are proud to announce that Prosper ISD has been named the Large District Winner in the 2025 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards! This incredible honor comes with a $100,000 check to support the continued excellence and innovation happening in our schools every day.

Prosper ISD was selected following a competitive process that included a detailed application, site visits, and interviews conducted by statewide panels of educators, community leaders, and former winners.

“We are deeply honored by this recognition,” said Superintendent Dr. Holly Ferguson. “It reflects the heart, commitment, and excellence of every staff member, student, and family in Prosper ISD.”

The awards ceremony, held in Downtown Austin, celebrated 68 outstanding Texas educators and leaders. Admiral William H. McRaven delivered the keynote address, applauding the powerful impact of public education in our state.

H-E-B awarded a total of $480,000 to teachers, principals, counselors, early childhood centers, school boards, and two school districts—one large and one small.

Since 2002, H-E-B has awarded more than $14 million to public educators across Texas who go above and beyond to serve their students and communities.
