Together We Prosper September 8, 2026 | | |
| | | | Prosper ISD Dedicates Bridges Middle School On Sept. 2, we officially celebrated the dedication of Bridges Middle School, marking a historic milestone as Prosper ISD’s 7th middle school. Just like our celebration for Rucker Elementary, the evening brought together students, educators, and community members to reflect on our district's rich history and bright future. We were honored to recognize our namesake, Jim Bridges, whose 15 years of service on the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees helped build the foundation for the excellence our students experience today.
"Mr. Bridges, I hope every student who walks through these doors feels exactly what you hoped they would—that they are known, that they are loved, that they are cared for, and that they belong," said Bridges Middle School Principal Alex Crosbie. "Today, here at Bridges Middle School, we honor the legacy of Jim Bridges—not by the status of our buildings or our budgets, but by being a community of educators who never stop growing and learning." | | | | What's Next? Come Find Out. Not every student is headed down the same path, and Prosper ISD is built to meet them on it. On Tuesday, September 8 from 6–8 PM at Richland High School, families can meet with colleges, trade schools, and military branches all in one place. It's a chance for students to ask questions and explore the options waiting for them, whatever direction they're headed. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | What should be in a healthy school lunch?
