Mrs. Tiffany Johns

Welcome to Hughes Elementary! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the families as the Principal of Hughes Elementary. I wholeheartedly believe in a student centered approach to learning. Through collaborative planning, our teachers will find the best ways to reach students and have them SOAR to their individual highest potential.

My husband and I are both proud Baylor Bears! We have two children who light up our world each day. Our oldest, Hudson, is 7 years old is in 2nd grade at Hughes Elementary. Our youngest, Emma, is 5 years old and is in Kindergarten at Hughes. Our family enjoys all things outdoors, especially time at the lake. We are an animal loving family! We have a pug named "Moose" and a French Bulldog named "Max".

After teaching for one year in Waco, TX, I was hired as a first grade teacher in Prosper ISD in 2008. I have been cheering on the Eagles ever since! Baker Elementary was my home campus for four years where I taught first and fourth grade. I have a total of 5 years of administrative experience at both the Middle School and Elementary level. It has been such a valuable experience to see the growth in Prosper ISD in the last 9 years.

I cannot wait to see the growth of the students and staff members at Hughes Elementary!

Mr. David Bill

I am thrilled to join the Hughes Elementary family this year as Assistant Principal!  I believe in servant leadership and the opportunity to serve the families, students, and staff of Hughes is very exciting to me.

This is my 6th year in Prosper ISD and my 17th year in education.  My teaching career began in Grosse Ile, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.  I taught there for 7 years before my wife got transferred to DFW.  Before coming to Prosper, I taught in McKinney ISD for 4 years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Iowa State University and a Master's in Elementary Education from Drake University.  My administrator's degree is from Lamar University.

My wife's name is Hope and we will celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary at the end of August.  We live in Plano and have 2 cats named Lucky and Sandy.  I was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Palatine.  In my spare time I love to play tennis, read, and travel.  I am a huge sports fan and love all teams from Chicago, Detroit and Dallas!

I look forward to partnering with you to achieve Hughes' mission of preparing students who are hardworking, ever-growing, accountable, respectful thinkers.
