Mrs. Stephanie Cockrell

Welcome to Folsom Elementary!  I am honored to serve as Principal of Folsom Elementary in Prosper ISD.  It is my passion to empower teachers and students to be lifelong learners, and here at Folsom we are committed to developing each child to their full potential.

I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education.  I moved to the DFW area in 2011 where I began my teaching career, later moving to Prosper ISD to teach at Reynolds Middle School. I then received my Master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and served as Assistant Principal at Hughes Elementary for two years.

My husband, Jared, and I enjoy traveling, going to Aggie football games in College Station, being outdoors and playing with our dog Jameson.  He grew up in Prosper when it was a much smaller town and this community has a very special place in our hearts.

I have been blessed to be in Prosper ISD and look forward to serving this school, district and community.  I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year! Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me with questions, concerns or feedback.

Mr. Marty Farrell

I am very excited to be starting my 12th year in education here at Folsom Elementary. I am truly grateful to get to work with all the amazing students, staff, parents, and the community here at Folsom.

I am a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University and Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. My career has included teaching and administration in Red Oak, Community, Plano, Lovejoy, and Highland Park.

I am married to Romi, a wonderful woman with enormous grace, love, and patience. We have two full of energy, curious, and constantly moving sons, Martin (3) and Jack (1). I am thankful for the three of them who have enriched my life greatly!

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, playing basketball, good food, spending time with family and friends, and watching sports.

Our team is ready to provide each child that walks through our doors the opportunity to reach his or her full potential in a positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment. We are fortunate to have such a strong partnership with the families that we serve.  I am happy and thankful to work in Prosper and build strong relationships with the students and families in this awesome learning community.
