Welcome to Folsom Elementary! I am honored to serve as Principal of Folsom Elementary in Prosper ISD. It is my passion to empower teachers and students to be lifelong learners, and here at Folsom we are committed to developing each child to their full potential.
I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education. I moved to the DFW area in 2011 where I began my teaching career, later moving to Prosper ISD to teach at Reynolds Middle School. I then received my Master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and served as Assistant Principal at Hughes Elementary for two years and then the Principal at Folsom the past two years.
My husband, Jared, and I enjoy traveling, going to Aggie football games in College Station, being outdoors and playing with our dog Jameson. He grew up in Prosper when it was a much smaller town and this community has a very special place in our hearts. We have a little girl, Josephine, that will be one this fall.
I have been blessed to be in Prosper ISD and look forward to serving this school, district and community. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year! Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me with questions, concerns or feedback.

Welcome to Folsom!
My career in education began with teaching Kindergarten outside of Chicago after graduating in 2009 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2015, and have taught various grade levels in both Illinois and Texas. I obtained my Master's degree in Reading Instruction and Reading Specialist certification from Aurora University in 2013, and Principal certification from Lamar University in 2019.
After our family relocated to Texas four years ago, I taught at Hughes Elementary here in Prosper ISD and then worked in the district's Curriculum and Instruction department as an Elementary Design Coach. Folsom was one of the campuses I helped support as an instructional coach for the past three years, and I am beyond thrilled and grateful to get to be here full time this year to serve the incredible students, families, and staff members of this campus.
I have twin six-year-old sons, Leo and Logan. They are in first grade at Folsom this year. As a family we enjoy spending as much time as we can outside, playing tennis and soccer, cooking, and reading.
Learning is my passion. I am truly fortunate to get to come to a place every day where I can support and empower students and staff on their learning journeys in a school district with such wonderful opportunities. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you this year, and cannot wait to get started.
