Congratulations to Walnut Grove High School on winning the 2025-26 Conference 5A UIL Lone Star Cup! 🏆 The Wildcats finished first in 5A with 112 points, in just their third year of UIL competition.
The Lone Star Cup recognizes the top-performing high schools in Texas based on overall team achievement across athletics, academics, and fine arts, making this a win earned by the entire school. This marks the second Lone Star Cup in Prosper ISD history. Way to go, Wildcats! 🐾

👏 Congratulations to our 27 Prosper ISD National Merit Semifinalists! 🌟 This honor is earned by juniors who score among the highest in the state on the PSAT/NMSQT, placing them in the top 1% of nearly 1.5 million students nationwide who take the test each year. All four Prosper ISD high schools are proudly represented in this prestigious honor. This is an incredible achievement, and we are proud of these outstanding students! 🎓

You belong here. 🍳 Prosper ISD's culinary students run real operations, from prepping and cooking to serving and catering, all inside commercial-grade kitchens built for real-world experience. Along the way, they can earn industry certifications like ServSafe Manager while building skills in plating, teamwork, time management and hospitality.

Last night, September 2, we celebrated a special milestone at the dedication of Bridges Middle School, Prosper ISD’s 7th middle school. The evening honored namesake Jim Bridges, who served on Prosper ISD's Board of Trustees for more than 15 years and continues to support our community to this day.

September is Suicide Prevention Month. Together, we can make a difference by raising awareness, prioritizing mental health, and reminding our community that no one has to face hard days alone.

At yesterday’s Teacher Leadership Institute session, Prosper ISD teachers discussed how to lead with purpose, from reimagining student learning to building stronger collaboration with colleagues. This group, made up of one teacher from each of our 32 campuses, will leave each TLI session with a plan to bring lasting, positive change back to their campus and our district as a whole.
🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Together, we can honor the fighters, support the families, and raise awareness to bring hope and strength to those impacted. 💛
