Yesterday, August 26, we celebrated a special milestone at the dedication of Rucker Elementary's brand-new building. The evening honored the legacy of namesake Judy Rucker, a true pillar of Prosper ISD’s history, and the family and community who carries her story forward.
Rock Hill High School just brought home a national championship! 🏆 The TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) chapter — Katelyn Fults, Addy Mullins, Norah Rubin, and Christian Pietersz, led by teacher Holly Sanchez — was named National Champions for Outstanding Chapter at the Educators Rising National Conference in June.
Congratulations to these future educators! Way to represent Prosper ISD with excellence on the national stage.

Football season kicks off Thursday, August 27 at Children's Health Stadium! 🏈 Please take notice of a couple policy reminders:
Clear bags only — required at the stadium and all ticketed athletic and fine arts events districtwide.
Cashless payments — concessions, athletics, natatorium, and fine arts events no longer accept cash, so bring a card or mobile payment.
Beat the heat – to help everyone stay safe and hydrated, we have increased the number of water stations along the concourse where you may purchase bottled water.

Congratulations to the Rogers Middle School yearbook staff and adviser Kelly Tokarczyk for being selected for the Jostens Book Bundle.
Their 2025-2026 yearbook, titled "Wild," was one of just 11 yearbooks selected nationwide out of thousands submitted, recognizing standout design, storytelling and photography. This is the second time in three years Rogers has earned this honor.

What a great start to the year at Meet the Teacher! Our elementary and early childhood school students got to meet the teachers who will guide and empower them all year, and parents got to meet the people who will help shape their child's story. The first day is still a few days away, but our students and families are already cultivating connections for the new school year! 🏫 During middle school and high school Schedule Walks this week, students had the chance to find their classrooms, meet teachers, explore their campuses, and get familiar with the people and places that will make up their school community this year.

Staff are back on campus, preparing to bring their best energy to the year ahead! After an empowering day of sharing new ideas and collaborating with colleagues at Prosper Connects last week, teachers are feeling recharged and ready to kick off an incredible new school year. Just seven more days until the first day of school on August 11!🍎
Jim Bridges and his family stepped inside Bridges Middle School last week, touring the campus that now carries his name. 🏫 It was a full-circle moment that reflects the lasting impact he has made on this community and the students who will walk these halls for years to come.
Last week, we celebrated the Rucker family with a first look at the new Judy Rucker Elementary School, a meaningful moment as the newest Prosper ISD elementary campus opens in her honor. 🏫 Campus and district leadership welcomed the family for a personal tour, a small but fitting way to celebrate the legacy behind the name and the community this campus will serve.
