Rogers Middle School Families:
We are writing about an incident near our school campus earlier this evening. An electrical transformer blew, resulting in several small fires. The Town of Prosper Fire Department quickly contained the incident, and thankfully, no one was injured. We appreciate the quick response of our local emergency services and are grateful for their efforts in keeping our community safe.
The local utilities department is working to resolve the transformer issue. As of 9 p.m. tonight, we anticipate that we will have school tomorrow. We will inform you of the status of school no later than 5 a.m. Wednesday morning through email, text, social media, and our website.
Parents, please talk with your students to ensure that misinformation is not being spread on social media.

👢👞Work Wear Safety brought over 2,000 pairs of shoes and boots for our employees.🙌We had 282 employees from Maintenance & Operations, Transportation, Custodial, Construction, Police and Technology eligible to receive a pair of "standard" safety footwear from the District. These employees are required to wear slip resistant or reinforced shoes while on the job. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.⭐#ProsperProud

🌟What an incredible morning in Ms. Kennon’s Small Animal Management and Equine Science class at Walnut Grove High School.🐕 Students were bathing and grooming dogs and caring for chicks that just hatched.
