Third Graders in Mrs. McClung's class used vertical boards to brainstorm book check out procedures. The sure had great ideas!

Ms. Miller's third graders worked hard on their first reading responses for this school year. They analyzed their independent reading book and decided if it was easy, just right, or challenging using characteristics they discussed as a class. We love to see this amazing learning in our classrooms!

Look at this fun activity one of out students did with a book they checked out at the library!

Fourth Graders in Ms. Tinney's class learned about the history of Prosper by reading in partners.

Boyer GT students had fun participating in a team-building lesson focusing on the skills they will need in math when problem solving and working collaboratively!

Mrs. Richard’s first graders have been busy collecting data, building picture and bar graphs, and even graphing their shoes! They’re learning to sort, represent, and interpret data while making real-world connections and having a blast along the way!

Second graders in Mrs. Heaton’s class made Oobleck after learning all about properties of matter, including solids and liquids. What a fun way to learn!

Kindergarten had a hair salon last week to work on their scissor skills! They learned all about cutting posture, safety, and rules! ✂️

Boyer second graders were
happy to be back at the library!

Second Graders in Mrs. McElreath's class had fun building towers out of flash cards. They only used cards with the math facts they knew to build their towers. They had to work as a team to figure out how to build their towers and combine what we knew by using all of their flashcards. What a fun lesson!

Students in Ms. Miller's class had fun learning about each other by sharing their biography bags.

When it's too hot outside for recess you have fun playing games at indoor recess! Mrs. McClung's class had fun playing with some new games that were donated to her classroom!

Boyer third graders enjoyed their first library visit of the school year.

We are so excited our amazing PTO is sponsoring this author visit in September. If you have a third, fourth or fifth grader, they are in for a treat!

Congratulations to Mrs. King's first grade class for being the first class to complete the library's, "National Dog Month Reading Challenge."

Attention Preschool Parents of Future Boyer Students! Mrs. Henry is hosting monthly storytimes for you and your child! We would love you to join us!

We had a great first day at Boyer Elementary! We can't wait to see everyone again tomorrow!
