| | | | | Fall is here, bringing a welcome pause after the fast and busy kickoff to the school year. We are so proud of our students and all they have accomplished in these first weeks. They have worked hard to learn and follow routines and procedures, model excellence in their classrooms and throughout our school, and take greater ownership of their learning. It has been exciting to see their confidence and independence grow each day. As we head into this first break, we hope our students, families, and staff take time to slow down, rest, reset, and enjoy time with family and friends. We are grateful for the strong start to the year and look forward to all that is ahead. And, of course, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some cooler fall weather soon! | | | Each Friday, Mrs. V will recognize students who have been Caught in Excellence for going above and beyond, making a positive impact, or demonstrating one of our four commitments: Together We Champion, Together We Empower, Together We Cultivate, or Together We Prosper. Teachers and staff can submit a Caught in Excellence Ticket to celebrate these students and highlight the ways they are making a difference in our school community. Each recognized student will be celebrated by Mrs. V as part of our Principal Mail recognition, reminding our Trailblazers that their positive choices, leadership, kindness, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Together, we will celebrate the many ways our students are making waves and staying Anchored in Excellence! 💜⚓🌊

It has been such a great start to our new school year! I'm so happy to see all our students back in the building. Every year is so exciting because it's an opportunity for a fresh start, ways to grow, etc. When we try new things, no matter what the outcome is, we can look back and say, "At least I tried!" This week, I am providing a link to a website that talks about ways to encourage your child to do new things. I thought this would be good to start our school year. It also allows you to have those conversations with your kids about making new friends, trying new things in the classroom or outside of school. I hope you enjoy and have a great weekend! | | | | | Join the Bryant PTO and Be Part of Our Growing Community! Help us make this school year extraordinary by joining the Bryant PTO today. Thank you for partnering with us to support our students and staff! | | | | On Wednesday, September 9th, all state mandated grades will have their vision and hearing checked as well as a quick visual check of their necks for the acanthosis nigricans marker (which can be an identifying factor of Diabetes) by our PISD certified screeners. These students will include all of Kinder, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade, as well as all new to Prosper ISD students. If you have any appointments to attend, please try to schedule them for after 2:30 pm on this date.
Here are some tips to prepare your student for screening: If your student wears glasses or contact lenses, please make sure they are wearing them for the screening day If your student wears contact lenses on the screening date, please have them inform their screener Please no earrings on this day - many of the students state that the headphones for hearing screening hurt them as they press on their earrings
Please note, if your student is determined to need outside evaluation for either vision or hearing, you will receive a letter sent home in their backpack soon after the screening. Please reach out to Nurse Padron (aapadron@prosper-isd.net) if you have any questions or concerns. If you selected on the enrollment form to have your child's provider perform their screening, your child will not be screened on screening day. | | | | | | | | | | | | | Doctor’s notes or other supporting documentation for an absence, may be submitted by completing the online Attendance Note Submission form and uploading your documentation within the form. Student's 8-digit ID numbers are required in order to complete the form, and may be found in Skyward Family Access. This process applies to both full-day and partial-day absences. Please note that a parent notification submitted through Skyward Family Access regarding a doctor's visit does not qualify as a doctor's note. | | | | | | | | | | | | | This school year, we will be implementing a new visitor check-in process for ALL campus visitors. Everyone will be required to present a government-issued photo ID each time they visit campus. Please be sure to bring your ID with you for EVERY visit.
We appreciate your patience as we implement this new process. If you are checking a student out for an appointment, please allow extra time for the check-in and checkout procedures. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to enhance the safety and security of our campus. | | | Being on time sets the tone for a successful day! Arriving by 7:50 a.m. gives our Trailblazers time to get settled, connect with their teachers, and be ready to learn.
Parents, if you arrive after 7:50 a.m., you will need to accompany your child inside to check them in using our new system. Please allow adequate time each morning to avoid tardies. Thank you for your partnership in helping our students start each day on time, prepared, and ready to learn!
