Cockrell Champion Families...Happy Thursday!

We hope you are having a wonderful week! We are in the middle of our only fundraiser for the year! Information is below regarding how we can together support our school! Thank you for signing up at mybooster.com and for your donations!

A few reminders:

• No visitors for lunch until the Tuesday after Labor Day so our kiddos can learn routines and connect with those around them.

• You will always need your ID (and any visitors coming with you) when coming to campus.

• If you have questions about your child's bus, follow the link on Gasmire's Good News regarding PISD transportation questions.

• If you need to make changes to your child's dismissal, we ask that this is not an all the time thing so that our kids can get into a routine. However, we understand life happens and plans change. Please contact the front office for dismissal changes, not your child's teacher, as they are busy with our kiddos and not readily checking email during the school hours.

We would love for you to follow us on Facebook if you have not already. You can find our page at @PISDCockrellElem. Look for the correct Facebook page that has our logo as the main profile picture. This will provide a glimpse into Cockrell for you as we move through the year!

Get Ready for Cockrell's Battle of the Beats (Dance Fit Glow Party) Fundraiser!

Our goal is to raise $65,000 to support student development programs, teacher grants, and classroom supplies, while working toward our future goal of installing a cover over the attached playground!

Families will gather donations through MyBooster.com by simply sharing your student's page with family and friends. Every share makes a difference!

Students will also enjoy Global Kitchen Club, an exciting character building adventure where they'll learn important values through virtual kitchens and cooking around the world.

Kickoff in School - 08/28

Fundraising Window - 8/28-9/11

Event Day - Battle of the Beats (Dance Fit Glow Party) - 9/25

Please make sure to sign up BEFORE Wednesday, September 9th by 2 PM.

Anyone signed up after that time is not guaranteed a "Fast Pass" and will have to sign-in the day of the event. Make sure to bring your D.L or Government issued ID to be able to sign-in as you will not be able to sign-in without it with our new sign in software.
