If your student would like to be featured at one of our Folsom Friday Live assemblies this year for an outside of school achievement (such as participation in musical, athletic, leadership, or academic groups/teams/clubs), please email me at aeturner@prosper-isd.net. We can set up a date for your student to be featured at an assembly and he/she can join me on the stage to show pictures of their accomplishment and share what they have learned from the experience! |

Together We Champion We are proud of our fierce Folsom scientists. Our teachers champion great science instruction by making sure students have acess to hands on learning experiences and the ability to test out science concepts and thinking. Here are second graders using their knowledge of physical properties in order to create and test out a prototype. Also seen recently in science include fourth graders using knowledge of transfer of energy to create Rube Goldberg machines and first graders using their knowledge of systems to put together a flashlight! |
Together We Cultivate Congratulations to the House of Respect, our house winners for the month of September and our first winners of the year! We celebrated them with a parade through the halls on Wednesday and their flag is now proudly waving at the front of the school. We will have our first house meetings (where students will get to connect with other students in their house) when we return from Fall Break and will be continuing to affirm our expectations through the earning of house points! |
Together We Empower Our staff members are always learning. Pictured here is a group of our educators who went to training this week to learn more about systems of support that we have in order to ensure ALL of our students are learning at high levels and have access to responsive instruction. We are constantly growing as a staff and we pride ourselves on having educators who work at a very high level collaboratively in order to empower our students with feedback and great learning experiences. |
Together We Prosper We aer fortunate in Prosper ISD to have school officers and our very own Sergeant Smith was recognized at the school board meeting last week with a Lifesaving Award. The safety and security of our students and staff are our number one priority. It's important that we are working collaboratively in order to be doing all we can to ensure the safest possible experience while here at school and/or at district events. Thank you, Sergeant Smith! |

- All volunteers must have a completed background check. If you are interested in volunteering, you will need to submit an application for a background check each school year. We recommend getting this done now so you don't have to worry about it later in the year. To fill out a form, click here.
