Get ready to Dive Into Reading with our Furr Literacy Night on September 15 from 5:30-6:30 PM. There will be Storytime with a Scuba Diver (please see the times listed on the flyer as doors will be closed once the storytime starts). The McKinney Library will be there, and you can also sign up for our Furr Read-A-Thon.

Bleu stopped in Ms. Humphries’ room this week! 💙 Ms. Humphries is someone who always has a smile on her face and brings such a positive energy to our school. She really makes an effort to get to know all of our kids and makes them feel seen and cared for.

🎉 IT WAS HOUSE REVEAL DAY!!! 🎉 We are SO excited to officially welcome our newest Furr students to their houses! There were smiles, surprises, and SO much excitement as our students found out which house they’ll be part of during their time at Furr!

Our House System is one of the things that makes Furr so special! This Friday, our newest Furr family members will discover which house they belong to! We can’t wait to see the excitement, reveal their houses, and celebrate each new member!

We kicked off the day by digging into who we are and how we can grow to better serve our students and support one another through Enneagram work. We wrapped it up by decorating pots and planting a reminder that growth takes intention, care, and teamwork. 🌸
