Bleu flew to Ms.Veverka! Ms. Veverka is an incredible 5th grade teacher — part educator, part motivator, all heart. She turns curiosity into confidence and makes every student feel seen, heard, and capable of their best. Our students are lucky to have her!💙
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders had an incredible virtual author visit with Lauren Tarshis. She has written over 25 books for the series "I Survived." She shared what inspires her, how she writes her books and even gave a sneak peek into her next I Surived book!
🌟Meet our Rising Stars of the Year! New to the profession, these 29 teachers represent the impact of strong mentorship and collaboration across each of our campuses. Their early success and growth as educators reflect a district dedicated to excellence and ensuring students are in great hands. We’re excited to see the difference they will continue to make for our students!

🌧️ Weather Update 6: School Closure - Thursday, January 29, 2026
After carefully assessing current road conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Thursday, January 29.
We have had dozens of facilities team members working every day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses. However, the continued cold temperatures have simply not allowed the ice and snow to melt enough for safe passage.
🌧️ Weather Update 5 for Prosper ISD Families
After assessing current conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Wednesday, January 28. While our facilities teams have worked throughout the day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses, freezing temperatures overnight could refreeze what has melted today.

Even during a winter shutdown, the work continues behind the scenes! While schools and district offices are closed and we stay warm inside, our maintenance and custodial teams are braving the cold to care for our facilities. ❄️👏 It truly takes a village, and every staff member plays a vital role in creating safe, welcoming spaces for our students to learn and grow. We’re so grateful for this amazing team that shows excellence every day, in every way!
A couple of weeks ago Bleu flew to Ms.Ford! Ms. Ford does incredible work with our EB students every single day. She teaches with 💙, dedication, and purpose. A true go to for practical strategies that actually work and a teammate who shows up with support and great stories!
Bleu flew straight to Ms.Moore because she always—and I mean always—does what’s best for students. You can count on her for a fresh perspective, strong ideas, and honest conversations paired with high expectations. And her students absolutely love her. 💙
