The Hughes Library was busy last month! Hughes readers borrowed 2,172 books and 42 brand new books were added to our collection! Take a peek at some of the highest circulating books and a few of the read alouds Hughes learners enjoyed while visiting the Library! October is bound to be just as fun!

Tonight, the Prosper ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to name Dr. Greg Bradley the lone finalist for Superintendent of Schools.
A former Prosper ISD Deputy Superintendent, he's coming back to lead the district he helped build, ready to become the 20th superintendent in our 124-year history. Welcome back, Dr. Bradley!

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Betty Hughes. She was a true champion for education and for the Prosper community, and her impact on so many lives was lasting. We feel incredibly blessed to have known her. She was a beautiful and treasured part of the Hughes family, and I know her legacy will continue to live on, not only in the halls of the school that bears her name, but also in the hearts of the many people she touched throughout her life. 💙

🎻 Reminder for incoming kindergarten families! 🎻 Interested in Prosper ISD’s Suzuki Strings Program? Join us for the information meeting this Thursday, June 4, at 9:30 AM at Windsong Ranch Elementary.
Prosper ISD’s Suzuki program introduces young students to violin through the renowned Suzuki Method, which emphasizes parent involvement, individualized instruction, listening, and a positive learning environment. Parents must attend the meeting this Thursday to submit an application for the 2026-2027 school year. We hope to see you there!
