Attention, Families! Please note that barring any additional weather issues – Monday, April 21, 2025, will NOT be required as a bad-weather makeup day. Since April 18 is already a district holiday, your family can enjoy a full four-day weekend!

Author/Illustrator Rachel Ignotofsky will be visiting Hughes Elementary! Books have been preordered and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Battle of the Books update! Round 1 winners were announced this morning. Students can start voting for Round 2. Voting will close on Wednesday and Round 2 winners will be announced next Friday! Happy reading!

Kindergarten worked together in teams to retell the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? with a rebus, 4th grade reviewed the Battle of the Alamo with Augmented Reality and many books were read! The library was really buzzing this week!
