| | | Welcome Back! Amazing Light Farms Families,
Week three was a massive success at Light Farms Elementary! Our new common space arrival procedures went off without a hitch, making our mornings smoother, calmer, and full of great community energy right from the first bell. We also ended our week with our first (internal) House Rally. We are excited to gear up for the month of September with our focus on Safety in our House Meetings and Leader Time sessions.
With our new routines locked down and our leadership habits kicking into gear, we are firing on all cylinders. Looking ahead to next week, we are keeping this amazing momentum going with even more deep dives into our classroom learning adventures. As a reminder, there is no school on Friday, September 4th due to staff professional learning, and Monday, September 7th due to Labor Day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend.
Have a fantastic weekend, Light Farms families!

These students will include all of Kinder, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades, as well as all new to Prosper ISD students. If you have any appointments to attend, please try to schedule them for after 3pm on this date.
Here are some tips to prepare your student for screening:
- If your student wears glasses or contact lenses, please make sure they are wearing them for the screening day.
- If your student wears contact lenses on the screening date, please have them inform their screener.
- Please no earrings on this day - many of the students state that the headphones for hearing screening hurt them as they press on their earrings.
