Only 94 districts met the high standard, placing us in the top 5.5% in art education statewide! 🏆👏 Huge congratulations to all our incredible art teachers across the district for this amazing achievement! 🎨🙌

Mrs. Caudle utilized the graffiti strategy to solicit responses from students about Texas history. This instructional strategy is a great way to pre-assess student understanding and deepen thinking with the entire class.

Saturday’s Meet the Eagles event was a great success, featuring a celebration of our fall sports teams 🏈🏐🏃♀️ and special performances by the cheerleaders , Talonettes, and the Mighty Eagle Band. The community came out to celebrate a fantastic kickoff to the sports season! 🎉

We love our students! LFE Staff pitched in this morning to do some painting on our large playground. We collectively added lots of fun things for students to do - 4 square, hopscotch, and more! Teams left notes for students so they know how much we care. Can't wait for tomorrow!
The Light Farms Elementary PTO showed up to turn out tons of pancakes for school staff today. They continue to spoil us as we finalize our preparations for the big day. We are so grateful for our supportive community!
