Light Farms Elementary

Congratulations to Ms. Kerr for winning the Support Staff Professional of the Year award for the 24-25 school year. Ms. Kerr has spent the better part of a decade at Light Farms serving students in our speech program. During her tenure, she has served as a mentor for so many new speech therapists, and has has a profound influence on student growth.

Congratulations to Ms. Johnson for winning the Paraprofessional of the Year award for the 24-25 school year. Ms. Johnson spends each day serving ALL students with a smile on her face and a servant's heart. She has had a tremendous impact on our kindergarten students in particular. We are grateful to have Ms. Johnson's positivity and helpfulness at LFE!

Congratulations to Jenna Richter for winning the Teacher of the Year award for the 24-25 school year. Ms. Richter has has a profound impact on so many students during her time at Light Farms Elementary. She works tirelessly to ensure that each student has exactly what they need to grow and learn, including soft skills like executive functioning, social skills, and communication. She is a breath of positivity to all kindergarten students and her team as a whole, always ensuring that decisions are in the best interest of children. She has continued to sponsor the Green Team at Light Farms, which focuses on having a positive impact on the environment, and recently ran a fundraiser to help raise money for the American Red Cross. Ms. Richter goes to the end of the world for students inside the school and outside in the community, often finding personal connections to families that need a little extra. We are so grateful for everything Ms. Richter does for Light Farms Elementary!
