We had an amazing time last night as we welcomed LFE families to our annual Learner's Showcase. Students were able to show off some of the great things happening in classrooms from this school year, and we had some fun in the process! Thank you to our families for attending!

It's Staff Appreciation Week here at Light Farms Elementary! I want to take a brief moment to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work of the ~100 staff members here at LFE. During my time curriculum coordinator, there was always something special when I walked through the doors of this school. I was honored to be able to come on to the team as an assistant principal, and now as principal. The team of educators here will stop at nothing to ensure that students have the best possible elementary school experience. Day by day, I continue to be amazed by the incredible LFE staff, including classroom teachers, the specials team, support and student services services staff, special education, office staff, custodial, and cafeteria. Words cannot express my gratitude for everything you do daily for students and for the school as a whole.
This weekend LFE students participated in District Academic UIL at Hays Middle School. We are so proud of all that participated, and those that have practiced to be ready for competition. Awards are now posted here. Congratulations students!

Each year, students in PE work on jump rope skills through a Black Belt academy. As they advance in their skill, they work their way up to becoming "masters" of jump rope. Tons of fun and cardio is happening in our gym. Thank you to our LFE Coaches for putting this on!
Last weekend LFE students participated in the 380 Honor Choir performance at PHS. We are proud of the work this group of students put in to be a part of this. Thank you to Ms. Seddelmeyer and Mr. Hall for all you do to create musicians each day!
