🌟Meet our Rising Stars of the Year! New to the profession, these 29 teachers represent the impact of strong mentorship and collaboration across each of our campuses. Their early success and growth as educators reflect a district dedicated to excellence and ensuring students are in great hands. We’re excited to see the difference they will continue to make for our students!

Students are in for a four-day weekend, with Friday, Feb. 13 set as a staff development day, and Monday, Feb. 16 is officially a school holiday—not a bad-weather makeup day.

What’s next?
☑️ Weather waivers will be presented to the Board of Trustees on Feb. 17
☑️ If approved, waivers will be submitted to TEA
☑️ If TEA approves, no additional makeup days or extra instructional minutes will be required

We are beyond grateful for our absolutely amazing school counselor, Mrs. Dunnington! She pours her heart into our school community each and every day, ensuring that every student and staff member feels seen, heard, and valued. Her compassion, empathy, and unwavering support make our school a place where people truly belong. 🌧️ Weather Update 5 for Prosper ISD Families

After assessing current conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Wednesday, January 28. While our facilities teams have worked throughout the day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses, freezing temperatures overnight could refreeze what has melted today.

Even during a winter shutdown, the work continues behind the scenes! While schools and district offices are closed and we stay warm inside, our maintenance and custodial teams are braving the cold to care for our facilities. ❄️👏 It truly takes a village, and every staff member plays a vital role in creating safe, welcoming spaces for our students to learn and grow.
