October is National Principals Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the person who makes Rushing Middle School such a special place to learn, work, and grow!
Mr. McDonnell leads with heart, humor, and a genuine belief in people. He has created a culture where staff feel supported, students feel seen, and everyone is encouraged to bring their best each day.
And then there’s his sense of humor and that unmistakable laugh! 😂 Whether he’s cracking a joke, finding the funny in a hectic day, or laughing right along with the rest of us, he has a way of bringing some lightness to even the busiest moments.
He’s the kind of leader who is always willing to listen, jump in, celebrate the wins, and help us navigate the challenges. He makes people feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged!
