A milestone moment in Prosper ISD! 🎉
Richland High School closed out this year’s dedication ceremonies with a celebration full of energy and pride. As Prosper ISD’s fourth high school, Richland stands as a great example of our district’s strategic priorities in action. Offering three new academies, Cosmetology, Electrical Engineering, and Cybersecurity, Richland is building upon our district's commitment to providing students with innovative experiences that prepare them to succeed now and in the future.
The event included incredible performances by the Richland band, orchestra, drill team, color guard, cheer team, choir, and JROTC, as well as heartfelt moments with Principal Dr. Lute Croy, assistant principals, district leaders, and staff. The evening captured what Prosper ISD is all about - dedicated educators, strong programs, and a community that helps students grow and prepare for what's ahead.
More than just a new building, Richland represents opportunity — a place where students can learn, lead, and build a legacy of their own. | | | Our elementary and middle school Superintendent Advisory Council met with Dr. Ferguson for the first time this school year, bringing ideas, insight, and leadership to the table. Students participated in team building exercises, gained leadership skills, and through listening circles, provided input to develop our Profile of a Learner. A special thank you to the Prosper Education Foundation for sponsoring the Superintendent Advisory Council meetings.
Thank you to these student representatives for collaborating with district leaders and showing what Together We Empower truly means.
