Congratulations to Walnut Grove High School on winning the 2025-26 Conference 5A UIL Lone Star Cup! 🏆 The Wildcats finished first in 5A with 112 points, in just their third year of UIL competition.

The Lone Star Cup recognizes the top-performing high schools in Texas based on overall team achievement across athletics, academics, and fine arts, making this a win earned by the entire school. This marks the second Lone Star Cup in Prosper ISD history. Way to go, Wildcats! 🐾

👏 Congratulations to our 27 Prosper ISD National Merit Semifinalists! 🌟 This honor is earned by juniors who score among the highest in the state on the PSAT/NMSQT, placing them in the top 1% of nearly 1.5 million students nationwide who take the test each year. All four Prosper ISD high schools are proudly represented in this prestigious honor. This is an incredible achievement, and we are proud of these outstanding students! 🎓

Congrats to our incredible Wildcat Tennis team on their 19-0 win tonight over Princeton! They move to 4-1 in District with a big match coming up against PHS next week! Go Cats! #TheStandard @ProsperISD @TothDustin

Today, Walnut Grove High School paused to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. The playing of “Taps” across our campus served as a solemn tribute to the victims, their families, and the brave first responders who demonstrated extraordinary courage that day.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Cats are up big at the half over Frisco Reedy!! Another night of brilliant performances by our Wildcat Band, Guard and Silver Elite! Go Cats! #TheStandard @ProsperISD @TothDustin

Interested in a future in the culinary industry? You belong here. 🍳 Prosper ISD's culinary students run real operations, from prepping and cooking to serving and catering, all inside commercial-grade kitchens built for real-world experience. Along the way, they can earn industry certifications like ServSafe Manager while building skills in plating, teamwork, time management and hospitality.

These lessons open doors to paths like restaurant ownership, personal chef work, or even military culinary service. And if it isn't your forever career, the skills you build are ones you'll use for life.

Happy Labor Day🥳 Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing day as we celebrate the hard work and dedication that makes our community great.
