The UIL has released district alignments for the 2026–28 seasons, and Prosper ISD is gearing up for some BIG district matchups!
🏈🏀 Walnut Grove High School is headed to District 6-6A, competing alongside Prosper and Prosper Rock Hill against Allen, McKinney High, McKinney Boyd, Princeton, and Dallas Jesuit.
🏐 Volleyball remains mostly unchanged, with Dallas Jesuit no longer competing in 6-6A.

Congratulations to our WGHS Robotics Team 2474X C.A.T.S.! They won our schools first ever Tournament Championship this past weekend and are now qualified for the Regional Championship!

🌧️ Weather Update 6: School Closure - Thursday, January 29, 2026
After carefully assessing current road conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Thursday, January 29.
We have had dozens of facilities team members working every day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses. However, the continued cold temperatures have simply not allowed the ice and snow to melt enough for safe passage.
