Mrs. Penny Washington

Greetings! I am thrilled to be a part of the Reynolds Team as the 7th grade Assistant Principal. I am entering my nineteenth year in public education and have been a proud Prosper Eagle for five years. I am a mother of two rowdy little boys who attend Prosper ISD. Ramsey is a fifth grader and Raiden is a fourth grader; my beautiful niece Montana is in graduate school in Washington, D.C. I believe that building positive and professional relationships is the key to success and love visiting with students and families. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching sports, and playing games with my family. I can often be found around the kitchen table playing cards or visiting with friends.

I would love to stay connected with you via Twitter @PennyHunterWash. I also encourage you to follow Reynolds on social media @PISDReynolds and/or Facebook @ReynoldsMS. At Reynolds we embrace C5: community, collaboration, connections, culture, and care. I am proud to serve you and look forward to the best year yet!

Hello!

It is an honor to serve the students and families of Reynolds Middle School. I am excited to be starting my 13th year in education and look forward to making meaningful, lasting relationships in Prosper. I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with my Bachelor of Science in Education.  I started my education career at Guymon Public Schools where I taught and coached for two years.  Following those years in Oklahoma, I relocated to Mansfield, TX and helped open a new middle school where I taught and coached for eight years.  In 2015, I made the decision to advance my career and completed my Master of Science Education in Adminstrative Leadership from Concordia University of Austin in the fall of 2016. The last two years, I served as an assistant principal at Crandall Middle School in Crandall ISD.  Crandall is where I met my wife, Danyel. She is a teacher in Prosper ISD.  Danyel and I are expecting our first child in December, and we are beyond excited to welcome Addilyn Marie into this world.

I am an Oklahoma boy who enjoys college football, covered patios in the summer, and adventures all around the world.  My experiences and joy for life drive my passion to help young students.  I believe all students can learn through hardwork, high expectations, and love.  Through these principles, my aim is to serve and help students grow and develop into young men and women that will be able to contribute to a global society.  With this mindset, my hope is that students will find their joy and passion in life.

I would love to stay connected with you via Twitter @AdamJinkens. I also encourage you to follow Reynolds on Twitter @PISDReynolds. #WeAreReynolds

Hello Reynolds Middle School community!  I feel extremely blessed to serve such a supportive community and incredible team here at RMS.  This will be my 18th year in education, all of which have been at the middle school level. During my time as an educator, I have taught ELA, social studies, and coached multiple sports.  The last 6 years have been as an administrator in Richardson ISD.  I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas.

My wife, Sherri, and I are a blended family with 4 children between us. Our 3 boys, Mitchell, Jake, and Josh have all graduated, entered the workforce, and are self supportive.  Our youngest, Emma, graduated high school in June and will attend UNT this fall.

I am excited to be in Prosper ISD, and I look forward to the partnerships I will develop with parents and the community to provide our students with the highest quality education.

I am very excited to be the Professional Learning Administrator at Reynolds Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year! This is my twelfth year in Education and my fourth year in Prosper ISD.  Throughout my twelve years of education I have taught 6th-7th grade Math, been a Math Instructional Coach, and an Adjunct Education Professor.

I earned my Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland - Go Seagulls!  I hold an Administrator’s Degree from McDaniel College in Maryland and two Master’s Degrees: one in Higher Education from Salisbury University and one in Classroom Climate/Management from LaSalle University.

Three years ago I relocated from Maryland to Texas, to be closer to my family.  I was overjoyed with the opportunity to teach 6th grade Math and immediately felt at home in Prosper ISD. Over the past three years in PISD, I have served as a Strategic Planning Action Team committee member, Instructional Rounds team member, Mentor Teacher, and Curriculum Collaborator.

I am looking forward to growing as an Administrator at Reynolds where I will oversee the Math Department and RTI.  My passion is Instructional Leadership; I will support all students and staff in reaching their fullest potential. Since my first day in Prosper ISD, I knew there was something special about the culture. It’s an honor to surround myself with the exceptional students, dedicated staff, and supportive community of Prosper where we all have the same drive to help one another, grow together and have fun every day. I am proud to be an Eagle!

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and traveling with friends. Everyone that meets me knows that most of my world revolves around my sweet dog, Saint!
