Welcome Back Eagle Nation!

Typed words do no justice to the level of excitement I have to welcome our students, staff, and families back to Reynolds Middle School... even though "school" might look and feel a little different than before COVID-19!

There is no doubt the first half of 2020 tested us as a school, as a district, as a community, and as a nation.

My hope and goal for the last half of 2020 and beyond is to help bring a true sense of safety, solidarity, and belongingness to every RMS student, staff member, and parent. We are stronger and better together!

This is my 16th year in education, 9th year as an administrator and 4th year as Reynolds Principal, and I, along with Reynolds Middle School and Prosper ISD, am committed to action to ensure that our students are educated and safe within an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters growth, development, and learning.

We will continue to strive to provide you and your child an exceptional educational experience, and we're committed to building lasting relationships with our students, parents and community.

Personally, my wife, Tara, and I are both Aggies and have two sons, Jax and Whitman (future Aggies), both of which are "Light Farms Leaders". We continue to acquire pets, and now have a dog, a cat, and a fish named Wrestle.

I feel truly blessed to be able to live within our amazing PISD community, and I love being able to work with your children everyday to ensure their future successes.

Mrs. Penny Washington

Greetings! I am thrilled to be a part of the Reynolds Team as the 8th grade Assistant Principal. I am entering my twentieth year in public education and have been a proud Prosper Eagle for five years. This is a unique year for me as I have been with many of the 8th grade students since they were in elementary and have had the privilege of watching them mature into teenagers. Once a Washington kiddo, always a Washington kiddo.

I am a mother of two boys who attend Prosper ISD. Ramsey will be attending Reynolds with me this year as a sixth grader and Raiden is a fifth grade leader at Light Farms. I believe that building positive and professional relationships is the key to success and love visiting with students and families. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching sports, and playing games with my family. I can often be found around the kitchen table playing cards and dominoes or visiting with friends over a cup of coffee.

I would love to stay connected with you via Twitter @PennyHunterWash. I also encourage you to follow Reynolds on social media @PISDReynolds and/or Facebook @ReynoldsMS. At Reynolds we embrace C5: community, collaboration, connections, culture, and care. I am proud to serve you and look forward to the best year yet!

Hello!

It is an honor to serve with the community and families of Prosper.  I am excited to be starting my 14th year in education and look forward to making meaningful lasting relationships at Reynolds Middle School as the Grade 7 Assistant Principal.  I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with my Bachelor of Science in Education and completed my Master of Science Education in Adminstrative Leadership from Concordia University of Austin.

I am an Oklahoma boy who enjoys college football, covered patios in the summer, and adventures all around the world.  I am married to my wonderful wife, Danyel, and together we have one of the sweetest babies in the world, Addilyn.  Our fur baby, Brody, would be very hurt if I didn't mention him. He is an 8 year old chocolate lab with a 3 year old mentality.

My experiences and joy for life drive my passion to help young students.  I believe all students can learn through hardwork, high expectations, and love.  Through these principles, my aim is to serve and help students grow and develop into young men and women that will be able to contribute to a global society.  With this mindset, my hope is that students will find their joy and passion in life.

I encourage you to follow Reynolds on Twitter @PISDReynolds. #WeAreReynolds

I am very excited to be the 6th grade Assistant Principal for the 2020-2021 school year! We are thrilled to have our students back and together we will make this year "Essentially the Best!"

This is my thirteenth year in Education and my fifth year in Prosper ISD.  I earned my Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland - Go Seagulls! Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I was a Math teacher, Instructional Coach, and Adjunct Education Professor.

A few years ago I relocated from Maryland to Texas to be closer to family and I immediately felt at home in Prosper ISD. Since then, my Prosper family has definitely become an extension of my own family.  In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and traveling with friends. Everyone that meets me knows that most of my world revolves around my sweet dog, Saint!

It’s an honor to surround myself with the exceptional students, dedicated staff and supportive community of Prosper, where we all have the same drive to help one another, build strong relationships, and grow together every day. As part of the Prosper Pride culture, we are here to inspire student dreams and serve our community! I am proud to be a Reynolds Eagle!

Meet your 6th Grade Administrator and Counselor!
