Mr. David Bill
I am honored to serve Boyer Elementary as Principal this year! I believe in servant leadership and the opportunity to serve the families, students, and staff at Boyer is very exciting to me.
This is my 8th year in Prosper ISD and my 19th year in education. My teaching career began in Grosse Ile, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. I taught there for 7 years before my wife got transferred to DFW. Before coming to Prosper, I taught in McKinney ISD for 4 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Iowa State University and a Master's in Elementary Education from Drake University. My administrator's degree is from Lamar University.
My wife's name is Hope and we will celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary at the end of August. We live in Plano and have 2 cats named Lucky and Sandy. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburb of Palatine. In my spare time I love to play tennis, read, and travel. I am a huge sports fan and love all teams from Chicago, Detroit, and Dallas.
At Boyer Elementary, we do not only focus on the academic readiness of a child but the social and emotional aspect as well. I look forward to partnering with you to provide a positive, welcoming experience.
Be Boyer, Be Brave, Be YOU!!

It is my highest honor to be serving as the Assistant Principal for the second year at Boyer Elementary School! This year embarks my 22nd year as an educator, and my third year as a part of Prosper ISD. I look forward to working with all of our students and their families and to be a part of this wonderful community. I firmly believe that partnering with students, parents and teachers is vital to student growth and success, and am committed to fostering high-quality relationships with my families!
I started my career as a high school teacher in my hometown of Shreveport, LA in Caddo Parish, and taught middle and high school Social Studies and Special Education before moving into an Assistant Principal position for a Pre-K through 8th grade campus. After transferring to Texas, I taught middle and high school Social Studies, and was the Academic Dean at Leadership Prep School in Frisco, TX. I came to Prosper in 2018 as a Social Emotional Teacher at Hughes Elementary. I earned my bachelor and master's degrees through Louisiana State University (GEAUX TIGERS!), and my doctorate degree in Educational Leadership through Stephen F. Austin State University.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Larry for 23 years, and we have two beautiful children. My daughter is a 8th grader, and my son is in 6th grade. They are competitive swimmers, so we stay busy with practices and meets on weekends.
Having lived in the area for 11 years, I have watched in amazement the rapid growth of Prosper ISD! I am thankful to be in here and and look forward to serving the families of Boyer this school year!
