This is my 11th year as counselor in Prosper ISD and my 23nd year in education.  I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Texas A&M Commerce. My husband and I live in Mckinney and enjoy spending time with family, traveling, attending UT football games and golfing.

It is very exciting to be a part of Hays Middle School. We are looking forward to many great things happening this year.  Whether it is academic achievement, personal/social development, or college/career development, my goal is that our 8th grade students feel prepared for high school once they leave Hays Middle School.

I am excited to be a part of the Hays family and support the Class of 2027 in their 6th grade year!  My journey in education began with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University (Wreck 'Em! ) and Masters in School Counseling from Amberton University. I taught English/Language Arts in Plano for nineteen years at Schimelpfenig Middle School and was a counselor the last three years at Wilson Middle School.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for the past 24 years, and we have two amazing sons.  My oldest son, Braden, goes to Texas A&M and my youngest son, Reid, is a 7th grader in Frisco. We also have three puppies that keep us busy.

I look forward to a great year at Hays.

Go HAWKS!
