🚨🏈🏀 UIL REALIGNMENT 2026–28 IS HERE! 🏐🚨
The UIL just released the new districts, and Prosper ISD is ready for BIG matchups!
🔥 Prosper, Rock Hill & Walnut Grove are moving to District 6-6A for football and basketball, joining:
Allen, McKinney High, McKinney Boyd, Princeton & Dallas Jesuit
🏐 Volleyball: mostly the same, with Dallas Jesuit no longer in 6-6A
💪 Prosper Richland will clash with the best:
🏈 Football (District 4-5A DII): Anna, Celina, Denison, Frisco, Frisco Emerson, Frisco Independence, Frisco Memorial & Frisco Panther Creek
🏀 Basketball & Volleyball (Region 6-5A): Denton, Denton Ryan, Frisco Lone Star, Frisco Panther Creek, Frisco Reedy & The Colony
New districts. New rivalries. Same Prosper ISD pride.

All Prosper ISD campuses and district offices will be open on Friday, January 30.
🚌 Bus routes may run slower than normal as drivers take extra precautions—please plan for possible delays and dress students warmly.
🚗 Staff and teen drivers should use caution in parking lots and on walkways, as some slushy or icy areas may remain.
We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to welcoming students back safely. 💙

🌧️ Weather Update 6: School Closure - Thursday, January 29, 2026
After carefully assessing current road conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Thursday, January 29.
We have had dozens of facilities team members working every day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses. However, the continued cold temperatures have simply not allowed the ice and snow to melt enough for safe passage.

After assessing current conditions and reviewing weather forecasts, Prosper ISD will be closed on Wednesday, January 28. While our facilities teams have worked throughout the day to clear sidewalks, doorways, driveways, and parking lots across all campuses, freezing temperatures overnight could refreeze what has melted today.
