We completed our first round of House meetings. Each House got to each other and our fifth graders were leaders - they defined each trait, talked about what being FIERCE looks like at Folsom, and taught the House cheer. Home of the FIERCE!

Saw lots of literacy across grade levels and content areas today! Students were getting feedback, doing lots of thinking, and sharing their thoughts. They were applying what they learned from teacher lessons to their own reading and writing.

Our Professional Learning Community at work! Teams have been spending time together analyzing data, planning instruction, adjusting instruction based on assessment results, creating systems for intervention, and more. Our teachers work hard to plan for each of our students.
We love our Folsom families. Just this week we got new recess equipment from PTO and treats donated to us. We also have a much-appreciated dad who has been directing traffic in the afternoons to help out our staff. Thank you, parents. We are grateful for your support and care💙

Only 94 districts met the high standard, placing us in the top 5.5% in art education statewide! 🏆👏 Huge congratulations to all our incredible art teachers across the district for this amazing achievement! 🎨🙌
