Our wonderful Mrs. Buck hosted a preschool story time yesterday and it was so fun seeing future kindergartners enjoying a story and activities together! Thank you to our families who came yesterday.
Incredible learning happening in Kindergarten today! In Math, students were using unifix cubes and their journals to record observations on 'long' and 'short', in Social Studies students were creating their own maps, and in ELAR students were writing, reading, doing small groups with their teachers.
Seen recently at Folsom: teams working together to make decisions for our students, lots of learning, talented Kindergarten artists, and storybook pumpkins!

First grade was full of student thinking today! Students were writing in all subject areas, including about push and pull in science, explaining their thoughts in math and using lots of different strategies, and sharing and reflecting with each other.
So very proud of the work the members of our Guiding Coalition are doing to model and strengthen collaboration across the building. Today we focused on student learning through a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Many great ideas and discussion. 🏔️Together, We Move Mountains🏔️

Today on National Custodian Day, we celebrate our incredible custodial team for the essential role they play in our schools and thank them for their dedication to our staff, students, and community! 💙
