We hope everyone had so much fun at our annual Folsom Fall Festival tonight! One of our favorite events of the year. A HUGE thank you to all of our PTO volunteers who organized this incredible event. We were able to honor three of our September and October Star Polishers today! ⭐ Way to shine, Ms. Davis, Ms. DeJesus, and Ms. Laclair Olson!⭐ We are grateful for all that you do for our students here at Folsom each day. Thank you PEF and PTO for helping us celebrate!
Student voice and engagement throughout the school - collaborating in math, ELAR, and specials today! Also loved seeing a note about our school. Our students and teachers certainly are FIERCE!
First grade was full of student thinking today! Students were writing in all subject areas, including about push and pull in science, explaining their thoughts in math and using lots of different strategies, and sharing and reflecting with each other.
So very proud of the work the members of our Guiding Coalition are doing to model and strengthen collaboration across the building. Today we focused on student learning through a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Many great ideas and discussion. 🏔️Together, We Move Mountains🏔️

We are grateful to partner with WGHS TAFE. Thank you to them for showing our deserving staff appreciation this week! Also, Folsom is the kind of place where staff jump in without being asked to help our custodian reset the cafe after an assembly. So proud to be Folsom FIERCE🏔️
We had a great week at Folsom and are so proud of our students. Making new friends and playing together at recess, engaging in learning, being recognized at assemblies, and wowing us all with their messages of growth, determination, and collaboration - they are truly FIERCE.
Had the opportunity to spend time in second grade classrooms yesterday and saw incredible student discourse and reflection across subject areas with teachers supporting their conversations and learning!

Today our Building Learning Team walked instruction to find and share great ideas. Also today, our Guiding Coalition members led their teams in discussions about WIN time. We are proud of the work our FIERCE staff does together to grow and positively impact all of our students.
