What a beautiful day for bocce ball for our Unstoppable Athletes and their Partners! Ca-Caw!

It was an honor and a privilege to celebrate several Veterans this morning who have children or grandchildren at Hays. They enjoyed breakfast, performances by band, choir, and orchestra, and meaningful speeches delivered by NJHS and Student Council representatives. We are especially honored to have Veterans Ms. Jagers, Mr. Hertwig, and Mr. Brooks serve our school everyday!

Ms. Wilson and Hays Hope Squad members did a phenomenal job this morning as we welcomed guests from Poland who came to learn about Hope Squad in our schools. We're especially proud of our students who offered such critical perspective and voice about the importance of spreading hope and taking care of one another!

We are excited to say "Witamy!" to our visitors from Poland tomorrow. They are coming to Hays to learn more about Hope Squad. Please help us welcome them by wearing yellow! 🛟

We know you're practically dying to see Hawk Theatre Company's "The Addams Family" musical. Luckily, you have one last chance: Saturday, 11/8, at 7:00 pm. After that, the curtain closes ... forever. Don't sleep on this morbidly, delightfully funny and enchanting masterpiece!

Hays Hope Squad is excited to welcome national Hope Squad leaders, Dr. Ferguson, and guests from Poland, on Monday, November 10. Ms. Wilson and students are busy preparing final details! To celebrate their visit and show support, students and staff are encouraged to wear yellow.

Hays PTO to the rescue! Earlier this week, one of the microwaves in our cafeteria quit working, and PTO quickly replaced it for us. Many students rely on our microwaves for heating up lunch, so we're thankful to be operating back at full capacity!

Our Unstoppable Athletes lit up the bowling alley today, along with their teachers and Partners. What a great start to a year of athletic feats! Ca-Caw!

Lunch time festivities for Red Ribbon Week! Thank you to Student Council for planning a fun and meaningful week.

Health Science classes put together skits, incorporating at least five character traits that embody employability and professionalism in a healthcare workplace. We definitely have some great actors and future healthcare professionals in this group!

Congratulations to Tom Bryner (FA Teacher, Centralized Team Lead) and Kelsi Walker (Resource & Inclusion Teacher and Team Lead) ... they are "crushing it" at Hays! From serving their students to leading their teams and SO much in between, these two are "citrusly a big peel"! 🍊

Our Superintendent Student Advisory Council representatives are off for their first meeting of the year! We are proud to have Aadhya, Vona, Aarav, and Aarush representing Hays. Go Hawks!
