Thank you for your hard work that makes all the difference.
Several of our beginner band and orchestra students had the opportunity visit 5th graders at Furr, Jackson, and Spradley to demonstrate the various instruments. This time next year, some of the students in the audience could be Hawk musicians selected for the same showcase!
🌟Meet our Rising Stars of the Year! New to the profession, these 29 teachers represent the impact of strong mentorship and collaboration across each of our campuses. Their early success and growth as educators reflect a district dedicated to excellence and ensuring students are in great hands. We’re excited to see the difference they will continue to make for our students!
Students are in for a four-day weekend, with Friday, Feb. 13 set as a staff development day, and Monday, Feb. 16 is officially a school holiday—not a bad-weather makeup day.

In our final week of district games, we're celebrating Ms. Oyedipe, Ms. Picardat, and Ms. Patten as our Basketball Teachers of the Week! Come cheer on our girls teams tonight as they finish the season strong!
The Fine Arts Booster Club is bringing the fun and creativity: "Tattoo a Teacher"! Temporary tattoos will be sold during lunches February 9-19. Buy a tattoo and select a teacher who will have to wear it during our pep rally on 2/20!
Our Hawks were very impressive at last weekend's UIL Meet! Our 6th grade Impromptu Speaking team (pictured) earned 6 of the top 10 spots in the district for their category. Additionally, Hays earned:
