Thanks to Ms. Napier and several students who rescued this sweet pup who was running around outside of Hays this morning. He doesn't have a collar, but he is chipped and is safely in the hands of Frisco Animal Services.

We had a *happy visit* from the PISD HR team today! They came to personally thank our first year teachers and their mentors, as well as our student teachers and the veterans who are hosting them. We are proud to have a hand in raising up excellent educators!

Clubs are a great way for students to get connected at Hays! In accordance with SB12, a parent must provide permission for a student to participate in school clubs. If your child will be participating in a club this year, please complete the form linked below. ***Please note that more clubs will be added to this list as they are approved throughout the semester. If your child is interested in a club that's not listed, encourage them to talk to a teacher about getting it started!

Thanks, Hawks, for a fun first day at Hays! Although the rain did dampen our afternoon carpool, it had nothing on our high spirits after a great start to the year!
